Chase Atlantic and Bexey provide all types of vibes at a sold out London show
Words by Karan Teli
Chase Atlantic brought their ‘Phases Tour’ to a sold out crowd at London’s O2 Forum Kentish Town.
Supported by the dark rap sounds of Bexey, the perfect opening act, he acted almost as an oxy-moron with his hard hitting sounds and raps, in comparison to the melodic sounds of Chase Atlantic. The crowd were prepared for Bexey; sing-a-longs ensured throughout his entire performance, you could have almost believed it was a Bexey headline show the way the crowd reacted to him at certain points.
But once Chase Atlantic took to the stage, there was no dispute who’s show it was and who the sold out crowd had come to see and sing along every word too. Everything from mosh pits to melodic sing-a-longs took place while Chase Atlantic took the stage. Their high energy was contagious and was on display throughout the entire show. Speaking to fans before the show, that was the one thing they were certain on seeing. “We know the energy is going to be crazy. I queued up for 3 hours to get to the front, I’m moaning to every single song.”
Guitar and saxophone solos throughout the show ensured that each member of the group got their individual shine and embrace from the crowd, before crowd favourites like HER and Friends wrapped up the show – to massive applause and cheers from overly pleased fans.
