Anderson. Paak blesses fans with rare Dr. Dre appearance at O2 Academy Brixton

Anderson. Paak blessed his fans. Not only did the singer bring his Free Nationals band for a surprise concert at O2 Academy Brixton, announced only days before, but he also brought out the very man who he is signed to; the legendary Dr. Dre. Gracing the stage for the first time in years, Dr. Dre came out after Anderson. Paak had just opened the show with fan favourite ‘Come Down’ to perform 2 of his biggest hits, ‘Still DRE’ and ‘The Next Episode’.
The sold out crowd roared as the legend and Anderson. Paak performed together on stage, before Dr. Dre saluted the talented Anderson. Paak before leaving the stage. Anderson. Paak had placed pressure on himself to deliver a great show after bringing Dr. Dre out so early, but the man delivered. Going on tour with Bruno Mars must have helped him with his stage presence and overall performance, as Bruno Mars has proven to be one of the best in the game.
Anderson. Paak played hits from his solo album ‘Malibu’, along with songs from his NxWorries album ‘Yes Lawd!’ His live vocals have never been a problem and the stage set up was very similar to when I saw him last year at O2 Forum Kentish Town, but the improvement in his overall performance was evident. Thank you to Anderson. Paak and Dr. Dre for a memorable night.
